Officers were responding to a crash when a tractor-trailer going "too fast for roadway conditions" slammed into their cars, troopers say.

EAST POINT, GA — A multi-vehicle crash injured two East Point police officers early Wednesday after a tractor-trailer hit three police cars on Interstate 285 South near Camp Creek Parkway, the Georgia State Patrol said.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. At the time, light showers were pouring into metro Atlanta, dampening the roads.
Officers were responding to an incident, and the three cars were parked near a concrete median wall with their emergency lights on, the GSP said. Two of the three officers were standing outside of their patrol cars, troopers said.
