Murder Charges Levied Against Trio Of Atlanta Brothers
Three men were charged with murder in connection with a shooting death Tuesday night in northwest Atlanta.
ATLANTA — Three Atlanta brothers have been charged with murder in connection a shooting death late Tuesday night.
Gregory Yancey, 55, was charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Brothers Gerry Yancey, 53, and Bobby Yancey, 62, were both charged with murder, police said.
Around 11:35 p.m., police were called to the 2400 block of Perry Boulevard in northwest Atlanta for a report of gunfire. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.

Homicide detectives began to investigate and identified the Yancey brothers’ involvement. Police arrested the three men and they were each booked into the Fulton County Jail where they remain without bond.
