The former president is set to appear at a private campaign event Friday evening.

COLLEGE PARK, GA — Former President Barack Obama is in Atlanta Friday on behalf of gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and U.S. Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock, Atlanta News First reported.

Obama is set to appear at a private campaign event at 7 p.m. at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park., the outlet reported.

Abrams is challenging Gov. Brian Kemp for a second time after he defeated her in 2018, winning the governor's seat.

Walker has been heavily challenging Warnock in the U.S. Senator's race.

Friday is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot, and early voting is set to end Nov. 4.
