Super Bowl LIII is set for Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
ATLANTA -- An estimated 1 million people are in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII, set for Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. Downtown Atlanta was the scene on Saturday for converging crowds of fans and spectators, with the area's host of tourist attractions, including Centennial Olympic Park, the World of Coca-Cola Museum, the Georgia Aquarium, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the Chick-fil-A College Football of Fame, just to name a few, all enjoying attendance surges.
Midtown Atlanta is also hosting a number of events, including Saturday's NFL Honors ceremony at the Fox Theatre. Numerous roads and thoroughfares throughout the city are closed through Monday.

After Sunday's game, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is poised to meet or surpass single-day travel records, as "Mass Exodus Monday" will see thousands of people departing the city.
