BRUNSWICK, GA — After ten days of testimony, the jury delivered guilty verdicts on the second day in the trial of three white men accused of chasing and killing Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man, in Brunswick, Georgia.
The mostly white jury deliberated on charges of murder, as well as other crimes, against Greg and Travis McMichael, and their neighbor, William "Roddie" Bryan Jr. The McMichaels have claimed they perceived Aubrey to be a thief, which prompted them to pursue and eventually shoot Aubrey at close range with a shotgun after he grappled for their weapon.
Bryan shot video of the fatal confrontation.
