Hawks To Honor Top Atlanta Teachers Chosen By Public for 'Year of the Teacher'
The Atlanta Hawks and Clorox will reward 9 top Atlanta Public Schools teachers based on the people's choice through March.

ATLANTA — Atlanta, Clorox and the Atlanta Hawks want to reward your favorite teacher for being, well, the best!
As a part of a season-long “Year of the Teacher,” the two organizations will team up to honor nine Atlanta Public School educators and provide them with much-needed classroom resources.
“On behalf of APS, I am thrilled that Clorox and the Hawks are continuing their support through the Year of the Teacher initiative,” said Dr. Lisa Herring, Superintendent, Atlanta Public Schools. “Our teachers work tirelessly each day to help our students reach their maximum potential. It means a great deal to them, and to me, to have this recognition opportunity. Thank you, Clorox and the Atlanta Hawks, for acknowledging and celebrating their work!”
