Publix, Kroger, Walmart: Thanksgiving 2024 Grocery Store Hours In GA

GEORGIA — Thanksgiving is nearly here and people in Georgia are busy planning the perfect menu for this year’s holiday dinner.

In the rush to make a complete holiday meal for the entire family, we may forget an item or two on our grocery lists. Fortunately, plenty of grocery stores in Georgia will be open on Thanksgiving Day to pick up the forgotten rolls or the missing can of cranberry sauce.

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with those that will not. As always, Patch encourages you to call your local store ahead of time to confirm hours at that location.

Amazon Fresh: Open for delivery, subject to availability.

CVS: CVS Pharmacy locations will remain open with regular hours on Thanksgiving though some hours may be reduced.

Food Lion: Stores will open on Thanksgiving, but closing times will vary by location.

Kroger: All stores will close at 5 p.m. Pharmacies will be closed.

Sprouts: Stores are open from 7 a.m.–2 p.m.

Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will close for Thanksgiving; however, 24-hour locations will remain open.

Whole Foods: Whole Foods Market stores will operate on modified hours on Thanksgiving, but hours may vary by location.
