Rapper Lil Yachty Totals Ferrari 488 On Atlanta Interstate
After the crash, Lil Yachty tweeted, "So thankful for my life. Never take it for granted."
ATLANTA, GA — On Monday, Miles McCollum, who is best known as rapper Lil Yachty, took a drive in his red Ferrari 488, a luxury sports car with a sticker prince of over $300,000. He concluded the trip on Interstate 75/85 by losing control of the vehicle, crashing into a concrete wall, spinning out across multiple lanes of traffic and finally coming to rest in the right emergency lane.
The rapper was not "seriously injured," according to a report by WSB-TV, which noted that he told told police he didn't remember remember anything after he lost control of the car.
TMZ, which obtained a photo of the wrecked Ferrari, cited unnamed witnesses who said there was standing water on the roadway at the time of the crash, suggesting the musician's sports car may have hydroplaned on the surface before crashing.

The rapper has not directly addressed the crash in public comments. On Tuesday, he tweeted, "So thankful for my life. Never take it for granted."
