Shooting Injures Tow-Truck Driver, 2 Daughters In Atlanta Dispute: Report

ATLANTA, GA — A male tow-truck operator and his two daughters were injured after a dispute led to gunfire Sunday at a John Wesley Dobbs Northeast gas station, WAGA-TV reported.
Atlanta Police said the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. When officers arrived, police said they found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The dispute came after the male suspect parked his car in a tow-away zone and and entered a nearby restaurant, police said. When the suspect confronted the operator who was preparing to tow his car, police said the two began arguing.

The suspect ran from the scene after slamming the operator to the ground, and the operator's two daughters chased the suspect, WAGA-TV reported, citing witnesses and police.
Gunfire erupted when the suspect brandished a gun, and the two women were shot, WAGA-TV reported.

In a news release, police identified one of the women shot as an acquaintance and did not mention a third person being shot.
Police said the man had multiple gunshot wounds, as well, and those injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled from the scene in his car, and police are continuing to investigate the case, police said.
