Banneker High Locked Down After Fight That Left 2 Students With Stab Wounds
Two Benjamin Banneker High School students were stabbed during a morning fight that led to a lockdown of the Atlanta school.
ATLANTA, GA — Two teens were stabbed and a southeast Atlanta high school was locked down following a fight Wednesday morning.
An altercation at Benjamin Banneker High School around 9 a.m. ended with two students suffering non-life-threatening injuries, Fulton County School officials said.
“Fulton County Schools Police were on-site and a lockdown was initiated while school administrators and police initiated an investigation,” schools spokeswoman Anne Hampson Boatwright told Patch in an email. “Three students were taken into custody.”
