Stories about the coronavirus pandemic and elections took over Patch's newsroom, but there were plenty of other stories that Patch readers found interesting this year.

Many Patch readers wanted to know how to swim with sharks at the Georgia Aquarium, which was announced in late August as part of the aquarium's expansion. We heard the unfortunate news that "Little Women Atlanta" star Ashley Ross, known as Ms. Minnie, died in a car crash. Then there was the Atlanta teen who made insulated cat shelters for LifeLine Animal Project.
