Love is in the air and it's pointing you toward several events around the city this weekend.

ATLANTA, GA -- Valentine's Day is around the corner and you know what that means: fresh roses, maybe a card, some dinner and a night on the town. If the latter is on your platter, then metro Atlanta features several events beginning Friday night and stretching into next week that could be just the thing.

It doesn't matter what your relationship status is -- single, married or complicated -- the city is bound to have something you would like.

Paces Mountain Band: Friday, Feb. 10 7 p.m. In Smyrna, you can listen to cool tunes by an awesome band. This special concert will be performed by a small ensemble, but the impact will be just as big. Fernbank After Dark: One of the most acclaimed museums in Georgia is going to dim the lights and turn into an after-hours spot. Friday Feb.10 is the debut of Fernbank After Dark, which will feature dining options such as tapas, drinks and entertainment. Cupid's Undie Run: Saturday, Feb. 11 at noon. This Buckhead event has been billed as a “brief” fun-run in the middle of a party. It's to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Love Stories of Oakland: Saturday, Feb. 11 & Sunday, Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m. This limited-time engagementwill feature more than 25 tour stops through Oakland’s Victorian garden cemetery as symbols and words of love and devotion found on headstones and mausoleums are examined.

Valentine's Night Out: Saturday, Feb. 11. Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Center for Puppetry Arts! The show will feature all you wanted to know about puppet couples throughout history . Enjoy beer and wine from the cash bar as well as other puppet-themed activities.

Alvin Ailey Dance Theater: From Wednesday, Feb. 15 to Sunday, Feb. 19, The week includes Fan Night, Jazz Night, "Ailey's Revelations," and more. Tickets on sale now.

Bon Jovi: Bon Jovi comes to Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta on Friday, Feb. 10. The show, called "This House is Not for Sale," will allow the band to definitely get into their classic hits, but don't be surprised if they play some songs from their upcoming 14th album. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Troubadour World Premierce at Alliance Theatre: Through Sunday, Feb. 12. Troubadour is "a feel-good romantic comedy musical that tells the story of Joe, Inez, and Izzy as Joe attempts to enter the country music world in the footsteps of his legendary musician father," the event's website says.
