Vegan Ice Cream, Airport Eats Offered At 5 New GA Restaurants

Patch has compiled details of new restaurants that have opened in metro Atlanta.

Peach State, are you feeling hungry? Well, metro Atlanta has recently welcomed new restaurants statewide.

The eclectic group of eateries offers diverse menus to satisfy appetites. From beloved chicken and burger restaurants to a new ice cream shop, these five new companies could serve dishes customers crave.

Paradies Lagardère, Atlanta

Where: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, 6000 N. Terminal Pkwy., Suite 4000

Product or Service: Contracted with ATL Farms Market and Corner Café in Concourse A (fresh fare, sandwiches and salads); Southern Farms Market and Antico Pizza Napoletana in Concourse B (offer 24-hour service and Neapolitan pizza, respectively); and Local Green Atlanta, Half Moon Empanadas, CAVA and Starbucks in Concourse C (an assortment of health-conscious, vegetarian, hand-held and grab-and-go dining options).

Hours of operation: Not immediately available.

“We’re proud to introduce a diverse mix of dining and retail concepts that reflect each city’s unique culture and community,” President and CEO Gregg Paradies said in a news release. “From supporting minority-owned businesses in Atlanta to celebrating the proud heritage of Texas in Dallas-Fort Worth, these new offerings turn everyday travel into something more meaningful for guests.”

Truett's Chick-fil-A, Grayson

Where: 2880 Loganville Hwy., Loganville

Product or Service: Grilled and fried chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, kale crunch, salads, waffle fries, hash brown scramble bowl, chicken and sausage biscuits, berry parfait and dipping sauce varieties. Exclusive specialty items.

Amenities: Dine-in, carry-out, mobile curbside and third-party delivery.

Hours of operation: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Opened July 3.

"The new restaurant will be operated by Executive General Manager Chris Bruno, a proud resident of this community for the past 30 years. Chris first connected with Chick-fil-A in high school and has since built a three-decade career with the brand. He most recently led the Pleasant Hill Dwarf House and brings a legacy of hospitality, service and leadership to his hometown community," company representatives said in a news release.

Five Guys, Alpharetta

Where: 6135 Ollie Walk, Suite 400

Product or Service: Burgers, hot dogs, patty melts, veggie sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, cajun fries and milkshakes.

Amenities: Dine-in, takeout and delivery. Gift cards. Catering.

Hours of operation: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily

"Whether it’s using fresh ground beef (there are no freezers in our restaurants), double-cooking our fries in 100 percent peanut oil, hand-preparing fresh ingredients every morning or serving peanuts while you wait, we strive to provide the best experience each and every time you visit," the Five Guys website read.

Einstein Bros. Bagels, Duluth

Where: 3455 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Suite 305

Product or Service: All-day happy hour combo, mocktails, country bagels and gravy egg sandwiches, iced coffee, tea, muffins, chocolate chip and egg sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, fruity cereal pops, pizza bagel pepperonis.

Amenities: Catering, dine-in, carry-out and delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Hours of operation: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday-Saturday.

“Opening in Duluth is a special milestone for us,” Adam Modzel, Einstein chief operations officer, said in a news release. “We’ve heard from so many guests in the area asking when we’d be coming to their neighborhood, and we’re proud to finally make it happen. Our team can’t wait to start serving up fresh-baked bagels, hot breakfast sandwiches and good mornings to the Duluth community.”

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Atlanta

Where: 619 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE, Suite B109, Ponce City Market

Product or Service: Dairy-free and vegan ice cream. More than 30 signature flavors, including vanilla bean, honeycomb, sicilian pistachio, Marionberry cheesecake, praline butter cake and Earl grey tea. Sundaes, housemade-waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, root beer floats, milkshakes and pints.

Amenities: Merchandise for sale, local delivery, gift cards, event and party packs and nationwide shipping.

Hours of operation: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Opened Friday.
