Watch Replay: Barack Obama In Atlanta For Stacey Abrams
Barack Obama rallied supporters at a Stacey Abrams rally in Atlanta Friday and you can watch the replay here.
ATLANTA, GA — Former president Barack Obama was in Atlanta to campaign for Stacey Abrams, as Georgia's nationally watched governor's race enters what could be its final hours. Obama appeared at a Friday afternoon rally at Morehouse College on behalf of Abrams, who is seeking to become the nation's first African-American female governor in history next Tuesday. Virtually every recent poll taken shows Abrams and Republican Brian Kemp in a statistical dead heat, with about 5 percent of voters undecided.
Oprah Winfrey was in Decatur and Marietta on Thursday on behalf of Abrams, while Vice President Mike Pence rallied voters for Kemp in northwest Georgia. On Saturday, the nation's biggest political figure — President Donald Trump — will appear at a Macon campaign rally for Kemp.
If neither Kemp or Abrams wins outright on Tuesday (Libertarian Ted Metz is also in the race), there will be a Dec. 4 runoff.
