Woman Shot to Death at DeKalb Apartments: Report

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -- Police in DeKalb County are investigating Tuesday after a woman was found fatally wounded at an apartment complex, according to news reports.

Police believe the woman is dead in an apparent suicide, WXIA reports. A man who law enforcement believes was the woman's boyfriend called police to the complex. Once they arrived they found the woman's body in a car, according to WXIA.

The shooting happened at the Park at East Ponce Apartments in the 1900 block of Tree Mountain Parkway.

Police have yet to release the name of the victim. The woman, in her mid 20s, was shot in the head, the TV station reports.
