Here are the top three stories in Augusta today:

  1. The city of Augusta and the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce are partnering to further assist small businesses in the community by creating an entrepreneurship training program. On Monday, the city announced the plan for a new City of Augusta Business Equity (CABE) Fund, along with a guaranteed $425,000 loan and grant training program funded completely by the city. More information on the CABE Fund program is available by visiting either the city of Augusta's or the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce's website. (WRDW)
  2. The 2023 Augusta Master's Golf tournament concluded with Jon Rahm winning his first Masters in a four-stroke separation against the runner-ups. This is Rahm's second major victory, with his first being the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm finished the tournament 12 under par, and Brooks Koepka and well-known Phil Mickelson tied for second place, finishing at eight under par. (Charlotte Observer)
  3. Daniil Kuznetsov, 26, has reportedly been located and returned home after being reported missing Sunday afternoon. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office put out a public request for assistance in locating Kuznetsov after he was reported walking away from his home suddenly. Kuznetsov is believed to be bipolar and primarily speaks Russian so his loved ones were very worried. (WJBF-TV)
