Death Threat Reportedly Issued Over Missing $30K

A Bethlehem man did not hesitate to call 911 when the son of the woman for whom he is a caretaker allegedly threatened to kill him.

According to the Bethlehem man, the son blames him for $30,000 that is missing from the mother’s bank account. The son reportedly came to his mother’s house on June 30 and told the Bethlehem man he was going to kill him. The son then ordered the man out of his mother’s house.

“Taking the threat seriously, [the man] left and called 911,” the deputy wrote in the report.

The man claimed to have been threatened with knives and screwdrivers several times in the past by the son and the woman’s daughter.

The man was advised to call the Sheriff’s Office if he had any additional issues with the son.
