Brookhaven Train Service Terminated

A fire at the Chamblee station forced the termination of all trains between Brookhaven and Doraville, MARTA officials said Wednesday afternoon.

MARTA spokesperson Cara Hodgson said no injuries were reorted and the agency is working with DeKalb County Fire Department to determine the cause of the fire.

"There is no service to the station," Hodgson said in an email to Brookhaven Patch. "We have a bus shuttle running between Doraville and Brookhaven."

Alternate routes are as follows:

• Bus 39 from Lindbergh to Doraville
• Bus 25 from Brookhaven to Doraville
• Bus 47 from Brookhave to Chamblee.
