Got a Startup With Purpose? Apply for 2026 Epiphany Grant!

Every startup begins with a spark. First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is now accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of its Epiphany program, a faith-based social entrepreneurship incubator supporting startups tackling today’s most pressing challenges. Epiphany is an evergreen initiative that equips entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to social issues with funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance. If you are an emerging founder with a vision to address societal challenges often overlooked by traditional markets, Epiphany offers the resources needed to help your venture grow. Examples of qualifying ventures include businesses that employ formerly incarcerated individuals or adults with developmental challenges, as well as enterprises offering services such as coding training for refugees or mechanical skills development in low-income communities. Since its launch, Epiphany has awarded nearly half a million dollars in grants and supported multiple successful ventures, including Refuge Coffee Co., PadSplit, and Purposeful Gourmet Foods. Modeled in part after the format of Shark Tank, the program provides early-stage entrepreneurs with capital, mentorship, and access to a network focused on impact areas such as hunger, homelessness, housing, refugee resettlement, racial equity, poverty, healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. The <a href="http://weather.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">National Weather Service</a> predicts a forecast of sunny with a high near 77. 2. will host it's 2nd Annual Spring Stampede today at 6 p.m. The one-mile race starts at 6:15, the 5K starts at 6:45 and Tot Trot will follow the 5K. Great prizes for winners, medals for 1st-3rd place in 14 age groups. 3. Tonight is Parents Night Out at . Take a night off by dropping the little ones off from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to enjoy some adult time. Little Artist will make cool art projects, enjoy music, story time, pizza and drinks. $25 per child. Extend your time for an additional $10 every half and hour after that! Age group 3-6 and 7-10. 4. Come back to the Brookhaven Patch at 10 a.m. for our Moms Time columnist's  pick for today's Great Escape - a great deal for moms to sneak away from all the stresses of the day. 5. Have a night out while helping a great cause by attending <a href="http://www.wix.com/viktoriafrost/galanightpage" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Concord Fire Soccer Club's Gala Night</a>. Enjoy silent and live auction items, casino games, food, beverages and dancing to help raise money for Concorde Fire's Scholarship Fund. Attire:  Dressy casual. Starts at 7 p.m. Cost: $70.
