Former School Custodian Charged with Molestation: Police
Rodney Winston faces charges for molesting two girls, ages 11 and 13.

Lithonia police have arrested Rodney Winston, a former custodian at Lithonia Middle School, for charges of child molestation and sexual battery.
Winston, reportedly molested two girls, ages 11 and 13, in their homes in July, according to WSB TV. Police say Winston molested the 11-year-old while she was asleep.
“She was awakened by him touching her bra and buttocks area and at that time she discovered he was trying to put money in her bra,” Lithonia police Capt. Xavier Todd told WSB TV.

A similar incident was reported by the 13-year-old girl.
The TV station found similar complaints against Winston dating back to 2011 and 2013 for “inappropriate behavior” at the school. Winston also reportedly faced sexual battery and burglary charges in DeKalb County in 2003.
