Wounded Man Found At Brookhaven Gas Station 'Uncooperative': Police
Police find a man bleeding outside a gas station in Brookhaven. Authorities are not sure if victim was shot or stabbed.
BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Police in Atlanta are investigating after an injured man walked into a Brookhaven gas station bleeding from a wound, according to news reports. A 911 call sent to police reported a man shot but when officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim with a "puncture wound," police told local media.
The incident happened about 4 a.m. Thursday outside a Brookhaven gas station in the 2200 block of North Druid Hills Boulevard, authorities said. Brookhaven police spokesman Maj. Brandon Gurley told Patch Thursday afternoon that the case is still being looked at. "We still do not know where it occurred. Uncooperative victim," he said in an email.

The man reportedly called Brookhaven police from inside his vehicle after walking inside the Chevron and asking an employee for the address there. The victim's identity, along with where he came from or how he was hurt, remains unknown at this time.
Police responded to the man's 911 call and found him in the car, suffering from a "puncture wound."

Just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday, a wounded man walked inside a Brookhaven gas station, asked for the address and called police.
βWe're still not certain yet (if the man was shot or stabbed),β Brookhaven police Lt. Justin Young told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. βSoon as the paramedics arrived, they took him right away.β
WAGA-TV reported that a witness saw medics tend to the man, removing him from his car. Investigators are reportedly checking to see if surveillance footage will show how the man was injured.
