Second Day Of Qualifying For Brookhaven Elections
Day one saw nine candidates make our local races. Let's see what day two brings.

Day two of qualifying for Brookhaven's first set of elections begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday.
The saw nine candidates pay their fees to make the election.
and , both of whom had announced their candidacies last week, qualified on Monday.

Thus far, Davis is the only candidate for mayor. Witt, however, was joined on Monday by Joe Gebbia and Bates Mattison in the District 4 race.

Alan Cole and Kevin Fitzpatrick both qualified for the District 1 seat, while Hope Bawcom, Ben Podgor and Erik Steavens made the District 3 race.
Qualifying will continue through Wednesday, August 15. Brookhaven voters will choose a mayor and four city council members on Nov. 6.
