Four Arrested On Drug Charges After Brookhaven SWAT Raid
Police were serving a warrant Thursday morning in which four people were arrested.

BROOKHAVEN, GA -- Four people were arrested early Thursday morning when Brookhaven police and DeKalb County SWAT units were called in to serve a warrant in the area of Childers Road and Shady Valley Drive. At one point, Brookhaven police were advising nearby residents to stay inside and otherwise avoid the area.
The arrests were made about an hour later, and there were no reports of shots being fired.

Maggie Erin Marshall, 30. Charges: Destruction of evidence, Possession of methamphetamine, Conspiracy to sell methamphetamine, Forgery 2nd degree
James Michael B. Mitchell, 34. Charges: Conspiracy to sell methamphetamine, Forgery 2nd degree
Joshua Bishop, 31. Charges: Possession of methamphetamine
Haywood Robin Hendrix, 48. Charges: Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia
Police said the search warrant came after weeks of investigation in to the activity at 1072 Hedge Rose Court. SWAT operators approached the home and attempted to get someone to the door. Forced entry was eventually made in to the home. It took several minutes to make contact with Marshall, Mitchell, and Bishop inside the residence. Hendrix was not at the residence but later arrested in connection with this investigation.

Detectives seized an unknown amount of methamphetamine and items related to the distribution and sell of drugs. All four suspects are being held at the DeKalb County Jail.
