Traffic and Road Closings

The 13.1^® Atlanta Marathon and Karhu 5K events will take place in  Town Brookhaven/Chamblee area with several road closings, beginning at 7 AM ET.

• Time/Date – 7 AM-10:45 AM, Sunday, Oct. 2  
• Start-Finish Area - Town Brookhaven, 4330 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta 30319
• Distance - Event includes two races: half marathon (13.1 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles).
• Course - The 13.1® Atlanta half marathon starts and ends at Town Brookhaven and goes through parks and neighborhoods, by two golf courses, on the PATH, and on Peachtree. The 5K race shares the first 2+ miles with the half marathon, then returns to Town Brookhaven.  Both races are entirely within DeKalb County.

Drivers near the race course are urged to plan their travel route to avoid crossing the race course, travel before applicable street lanes are closed, or take MARTA.
