2013 Sutton Nominating Committee Announces Potential PTA Board Leaders

The 2013 Sutton Middle School PTA Nominating Committee has completed its task of reviewing and selecting qualified applicants for leadership positions on the 2013 PTA Board.

According to a letter sent to PTA members, the committee was "charged to review all nominations and select qualified candidates for PTA Board and Committee Chair positions." 

The final vote will take place during the PTA general election meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 at 9 a.m. in the SMS Media Center.

Treasurer: David Dollar
Financial Secretary: Mary Ann Hammond
VP Social: Anne Williams
VP Communications: Janet Tomko
VP Community: Karen Yanoshik
VP Student Affairs/Academics: Carolyn Dingman
VP Fundraising: Rush Levitt
Lead Grade-Level Liaison: Barbara Jackson
Parliamentarians: Patricia Israel Beth Ryan

The nomination and selection process followed this general schedule: 

• Tuesday, Feb. 12- Media Center- Election of Nominating Committee at PTA Meeting/Education Series -COMPLETE

• Friday, Feb. 8 - Deadline for submitting nomination form for officers -COMPLETE

• Friday, March 1 - The Nominating Committee will post a report, ten days before the election meeting, indicating the nominees for each elected position. -COMPLETE

• Tuesday, March 12, 9 a.m., in the Media Center - The election of the Board will be held during the PTA meeting.
