4 Displaced After Tree Falls on Buckhead Apartment Complex

Four families were forced to leave their home Monday night when a tree fell on their apartment building.


A large tree fell on an apartment complex located at Terrace Drive, near the intersection of Peachtree Street and Lindbergh Drive, on Tuesday night displacing 4 Buckhead families.

According to the fire department who were first to respond, high winds are to blame for toppling the tree.Β  A number of trees fell on Monday and Tuesday due to the combination of rain and high winds, including a tree that fell on a home in the Virginia-Highland area.

The 4 displaced residents of the Buckhead apartment complex, were still unable to enter their homes on Wednesday morning, reports WSB-TV.Β  According to the WSB website, "the property management company said they are hoping to find out more about repairs Wednesday morning."
