521 Kitchen & Que in Buckhead Abruptly Closes Down

BUCKHEAD, GA -- A barbecue restaurant in Buckhead has announced that it has closed its doors.

521 Kitchen & Que, located in a strip mall anchored by Fresh Market on Roswell Road, said on its website that this past weekend was its last:

“It is with bittersweet emotions, that we announce Friday was our last day of service. We had an opportunity at the right time that just could not be passed up! It has been a pleasure to serve our loyal customers and to share the passion we have for quality foods. We look forward to being a part of all of your dining experiences again soon. Stay tuned for Chef Drew Kirkland’s next ventures.”

The restaurant's closing follows that of several Buckhead-area eateries, including Madre + Mason in Morningside and New Orleans-based Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro at Atlantic Station, which both shut down shortly after the new year.
