Here are the top three stories in Buckhead today:

  1. Iberian Pig Buckhead will be hosting an intimate dinner series at The Atlanta Food and Wine Festival. The intimate dinners will begin on Sep. 13 and the popular festival will be on Saturday, Sep. 17, and Sunday, Sep. 18.   2. Daquan Reed has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing a seven-year-old girl in Buckhead. Reed was convicted on Aug. 18. Kennedy Maxie was shot in the head by a stray bullet that was fired by Reed from the passenger seat of a car. Fulton County's Judge Emily Richardson handed down the sentence. (CBS 46)
  3. Gas prices for Buckhead residents continue to decline. According to a recent report by AAA, gas prices in Georgia are now averaging $3.38 per gallon. The average gas price in Buckhead is slightly above the state average at $3.69 per gallon, according to data provided by GasBuddy. AAA officials warn that gas prices could increase as the Gulf of Mexico is impacted by hurricane season. (WSBTV)
