Band In Paris Concert Attack Included Atlanta Drummer
The Westminster Schools graduate was playing inside Le Bataclan when the terrorist attack began Friday.

One of the musicians in the band that was playing at a Paris concert hall when armed terrorists entered the building and began shooting into the crowd is from Atlanta, according to a report.
Julian Dorio, who graduated from the Westminster Schools in Buckhead, was drumming for Eagles of Death Metal inside Le Bataclan concert hall on Friday night when the attack began, WSB-TV says. Dorio’s brother has been in contact with Julian and told the station that Julian is currently safe inside a police station.
Dorio told his brother that the band was playing its sixth song when they heard automatic rifle fire and immediately dropped to the floor of the stage. They then saw men with “machine guns” indiscriminately shooting at the 1,500 people inside the concert hall. Dorio and other band members and roadies used a door behind the stage to flee into the street.
