Buckhead Heritage strives to enhance the quality of life in Buckhead by identifying, preserving, and promoting its historic resources.
As the Historic Cemeteries Chair, Tamara actively engages with all the cemeteries under the organizationβs care. She ensures that Harmony Grove and Mt. Olive are properly maintained and organizes public cleanup efforts. She regularly checks with the Buckhead Heritage office to identify cemeteries that require attention and organizes cleanups and headstone cleanings on a consistent basis.
Additionally, she has been instrumental in assisting the New Hope Church congregation with the restoration of their cemetery and has worked with descendants at Piney Grove to restore theirs.
