Here are the top three stories in Buckhead today:

  1. BeltLine’s Northwest Trail planners have walked away from a controversial route through a residential neighborhood. Atlanta BeltLine Inc. announced it will consider a previous solution to create a route through Buckhead at a community meeting on Tuesday. The plan would create a multi-use trail along the Bennett Street commercial corridor and across Peachtree Road. Click the following link for a map of the plan. (Buckhead.com)
  2. A public input meeting has been scheduled for the pedestrian bridge plan over the Ga. 400/Lenox Road interchange. The meeting will be held on Sep. 19 at 6:00 p.m. through Zoom.   3. Parts of metro Atlanta were impacted by heavy rainfall and flooding on Tuesday. The storms were due to an incoming cold front. The weather caused traffic delays and the Georgia Department of Transportation had to reroute traffic along Highway 78. (11 Alive)
