Beverly Bremer Silver Shop Closing After Nearly 50 Years

Beverly Bremer Silver Shop opened at the old Lindbergh Flea Market in 1975. Now, it will close its doors for good.

ATLANTA, GA – After 47 years selling secondhand fine silver Beverly Bremer Silver Shop in Buckhead will be closing its doors for good, according to reports.

The announcement was posted to the store’s Facebook page on Sunday online and later reported in Tomorrow’s News Today as Bremer advertised abbreviated hours and a 20-percent-off β€œFond Farewell Sale.” The 3,000 square foot store also offers its selection of jewelry, flatware, and other fine gifts online, and β€œdue to overwhelming response” for the discounts, will only be open virtually for business through Feb. 14.

Bremer learned her business savvy working under the tutelage of late retail giant Richard β€œDick” Rich of Rich’s department stores of old, Tomorrow's News Today reports. She opened her business in the old Lindbergh Flea Market – the site of Lindbergh MARTA Station – in 1975, and the rest is history.
