A man with a gun approached a woman, taking her purse, as she was getting her children out of the car. The woman said the suspect showed her what looked like a plastic gun, but she wasn't sure. The victim said as the man reached on the front passenger side of the car and took her purse, the gun fell to the ground. The suspect grabbed her purse and her wallet fell to the ground. Nothing of value was in the purse.

Man Steals Cell Phone Out of Man's Hand at Starbucks

Unidentified man walks up to victim, grabs cell phone from his hand and runs out of the coffeeshop. The suspect left the scene in a gray 2003 BMW driven by a second man.
Woman Robbed at Gunpoint at Publix Parking Lot

3/3/13 at 12:38 p.m.
A man wearing all black approached a woman and displayed a gun. He demanded that she give him her purse. He then told her to get in her car and drive away. There were cameras in the parking lot and the suspect was seen driving away in a white Chrysler Pacifica with an unknown tag.
Ice Cream Stolen from Ice Cream Truck
Larceny from Auto, 2119 Bolton Drive NW
3/8/13 at 9 a.m.
An unknown suspect stole ice cream from an ice cream truck. The victim came back to the truck to find the right door slightly open and found that a box of ice had fallen out of the vehicle as well. No witnesses and no cameras.
Robbery-Pedestrian, Waffle House, 1701 Northside Drive NW
3/5/13 at 3:23 a.m.
Two unknown men robbed the victims at gunpoint, stealing an iPhone, handbag, rewards card and identification card. One of the suspects brandished a .22 or 9mm handgun. There were no cameras in the parking lot. The phone was not turned on, so it could not be tracked.
Social Security Check Stolen
Residential Burglary, 2223 Lenox Road NE
3/6/13 at 6:45 p.m.
An unknown suspect stole $800 in cash and a $700 Social Security check from the victim's apartment drawer. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. No witnesses or cameras at the residence, but three fingerprints were pulled.
Larceny from Auto, The Galloway School, 2400 Defoors Ferry Road NW
3/9/13 at 10 a.m.
While parked at the school, a 2003 GMC Yukon was broken into and items totaling $1,450 were taken. No suspect and no video.
Larceny from Auto, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, 3201 Peachtree Road NE
3/6/13 at 6 p.m.
A woman found her car window smashed and items stolen from her car while it was parked at the church. Prints were recovered.

During this period, 100 shoes were taken from the store and $157 in cash stolen.

3/9/13 at 11:45 a.m.
A man entered the bookstore and took six books off the shelf and concealed them in a black leather briefcase before passing all points of payment. The books were valued at $56.96. The suspect was taken into custody.

3/7/13 at 7 p.m.
An unidentified man entered the location and asked a woman, "What type of building is this?" He then grabbed her iPhone and laptop and tried to run away. The woman was able to get her laptop from him, but the suspect ran away with the cell phone.
Robbery-Pedestrian at 517 Main St. NE
3/4/13 at 4:14 a.m.
Three men– one wearing a red bandanna, another wearing a blue bandanna and another wearing a beanie cap–approached two women who were getting out of a vehicle. The men demanded that the women give them their purses. The suspects were all armed with handguns. Two clutch bags were stolen and were taken with keys in each and an untraceable iPhone.
Larceny from Auto, Phipps Place Apartments, 3460 Kingsboro Road NE
3/4/13 at 10 p.m.
Several car windows were smashed in the parking deck at the apartment complex. Five vehicles were damaged and several electronics and cash were stolen from the vehicles. Two black gloves were recovered at the location. No cameras were available at the location.
