Diane McIver's Old Company Could Tie Up Assets: Report

U.S. Enterprises claims firm owned by Buckhead businesswoman owes nearly $1M.

BUCKHEAD, GA -- A company connected to Diane McIver is expected to file suit to collect on about $1 million it claims the late Buckhead businesswoman owes it, according to news reports.

McIver was president of U.S. Enterprises, which says her other company, DRS Investments, borrowed $975,000, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The letter, addressed to estate executor Claud “Tex” McIver says: “We would appreciate your remittance in the above stated amount to Enterprises,” the newspaper reports.

Diane McIver, 63, died from a gunshot wound in September after her husband, prominent Atlanta attorney Tex McIver, claimed that he accidentally shot her when he fell asleep with a gun in his lap in their SUV.
