Early Morning Fire Damages Buckhead Home
On Friday morning, Atlanta firefighters battled a predawn fire on Dellwood Drive.
A Buckhead home on Dellwood Drive, near West Wesley Road was almost fully engulfed in flames Friday morning, as firefighters worked hard to save as much as the home as possible.Β
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, flames from the fire could be seen shooting out of the second-story windows as it moved through the walls of the house.
Atlanta Fire Capt. Lorenzo McMiller told the AJC that the reason this fire was a little tricky to manage was because the, "fire was running all through the roof line, in between the plaster walls, so it was kind of hard to get to."
