Freezing Temperatures Expected This Week

After a winter that can only be described as “tropical,” temperatures in Georgia are finally coming down to normal for this time of year.

The National Weather Service is predicting high temperatures in the 40s until Wednesday, with lows below freezing tonight and Tuesday night.

Don’t forget to bring your outdoor plants and outdoor animals inside tonight and tomorrow night to protect them from the cold.

Wednesday night, the temperature should be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Temperatures will be back in the 50s on Thursday, with a high temperature near 60 predicted for the Atlanta area on Friday.

Our old friend rain will make an unwelcome appearance on Thursday night and Friday, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation expected both days.
