Haute Hounds and Couture Cats Saks Fashion Show Benefits Atlanta Humane Society

Dogs and cats ruled at this event, which was sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and held in the Phipps Plaza store’s designer salons.  

Saks generously donated 5 percent of sales to the Atlanta Humane Society in addition to presenting a beautiful Fashion Show of Spring 2013 designs by American and European designers. A champagne reception opened the event, followed by an elegant, seated luncheon and the fashion show.  

Cindy Voyles was at the helm as Chairman of Haute Hounds and Couture Cats, for the second annual Atlanta Humane Society benefit luncheon. 

Thanks to Cindy’s energetic enthusiasm, attendee numbers doubled from last year’s inaugural event.

Lead sponsors were Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, Voyles Automotive and the Georgia Dermatology Center.

Atlanta Humane Society President William Shaheen and his staff brought adoptable puppies and young dogs, all ready to find their forever homes. Professional models and local Atlanta business leaders walked the runway along with some of their own pets, and also featuring some of the adorable, adoptable puppies from the Atlanta Humane Society. 

Catwalk VIPs or models included:  Marian Goldberg with the dog she met at last year’s luncheon as an adoptable puppy, and whom she now owns, Jenny Pruitt with her two Shih Tzus “Molly” and “Murphy,” Joanne Chesler Gross, Kitsy Rose, Jada Loveless, Robin Howell Hudson, Mateo Restrepo with his 10-month-old French Bulldog “Frida,” and Pam Yarbrough.

Saks also presented each guest with a silver tote bag, full of goodies, including cosmetic and perfume items, and the 2013 Atlanta Humane Society Pet Calendar.
