Here are the top three stories today in Buckhead:
- The Atlanta Police Department is conducting an investigation into a man's death at a condo complex in Buckhead. The man was found dead in the condo around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The department is reportedly waiting on the results from an autopsy to determine how the man died as of Monday afternoon. (11 Alive)
- Nobu Atlanta is set to open in November. The new hotel is part of the One Phipps Plaza luxury retail center in Buckhead. The hotel will feature a rooftop pool with 152 different rooms and suites for guests. The Rockwell Group designed the hotel. (Forbes.com)
- Georgia Governor Brian Kemp declared a state of emergency on Sunday afternoon in response to heavy rainfall impacting the metro Atlanta area. The state of emergency was for Chattooga and Floyd Counties. The state is directing resources to those areas to assist with preparation, response, and recovery actions. (AP News)
