Laura Schneider Joins Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital

Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Schneider, DVM to its practice. She joins veterinarians Dr. Sharon Nath, Dr. Leslie Priest, Dr. Tara Rittle, Dr. Edith Rogers, Dr. Keri Weyl and practice founder Dr. Duffy Jones.

The addition of carefully selected, highly skilled team members ensures that our practice remains small yet properly staffed to remain accessible and dedicate ample time caring for our patients. This ultimately results in healthy, happy pets and their owners, expressed Dr. Duffy Jones.

Prior to joining Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital, Los Angeles native Dr. Schneider was an Emergency Clinician at California Veterinary Specialists, where she had previously completed a post-grad small animal medicine and surgery internship.

Dr. Schneider received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, where she served as class president and was inducted into the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, where she majored in Philosophy and Biology. She was a full scholarship athlete for their Division One volleyball team.

Hailing from California, both Laura and her husband Joey were thrilled when they learned that his anesthesia residency matched at Emory. They packed up their belongings and animals and drove cross-country to Atlanta, and have not looked back.

In her free time, Dr. Schneider enjoys everything outdoors and spending as much time as possible with her husband, their dogs Finnegan and Monster, and cats Romeo and Russell.
