Man Walks Into Buckhead Bank, Holds Up Note That Reads 'Robbery': Police

Police said a man recently walked into a Suntrust bank in Buckhead and held up a note that reads "Robbery." He got away with some cash.

ATLANTA, GA -- Police in Atlanta are asking the public's help in finding a man who walked into a bank and held up a note with the word "Robbery" on it, authorities said. The man then told the worker, "Give me the cash, give the cash."

The incident happened Sept. 8 about 3:14 p.m. in Buckhead at the Suntrust Bank in the 3000 block of Peachtree Road.

The perpetrator got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot west of Pharr Road, according to authorities.

The suspect is described as an older man with a black ballcap, dark glasses and blue long-sleeve button-down shirt. He was wearing denim jeans and his left hand was wrapped in an apparent bandage.
