Million-Dollar Condos 'The Charles' Coming to Buckhead
The Loudermilk Companies building 57 units at Peachtree Road and East Paces Ferry.
BUCKHEAD, GA -- Luxury condos are on tap for Buckhead, courtesy of ambition plans from the Atlanta-based Loudermilk Companies.
"The Charles" condos will offer 57 penthouses and residences for $1.3 million that feature open terraces that show the city's expansive skyline, the group said.
An 18-story tower will have shops at the ground level adjacent to a three-level parking deck.

The location, Peachtree Road and East Paces Ferry, is a 1-acre site that was a longtime strip mall anchored by a furniture store.
The company is also redeveloping office space on East Paces Ferry, including a medical building that is currently under construction.

The Charles, which is slated to begin construction in spring, will be represented by Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s Realtors, the Loudermilk group said.
The group has hired Brasfield & Gorrie as contractors. John Mears will partner on the project and Lord Aeck Sargent Inc. will be its architect.
