Morris, Manning & Martin Hires Two Tax Partners

Buckhead law firm is expanding tax practice.

recently named two new additions to its tax practice, which the firm is expanding.

Gerald V. Thomas II and Anthony Boggs, were both hired as partners in the firm and are based in its Atlanta headquarters.

Thomas, who received his law degree from New York University, works in the Tax, Corporate, Funds & Alternative Investments, M&A and Real Estate Capital Markets practices.

Boggs, who obtained his law degree from the University of Denver, and was most recently a partner in Bryan Cave's Atlanta offices.

Boggs will provide tax-related legal services to all of Morris, Mannings' critical practice areas, including Real Estate, Real Estate Capital Markets, International Trade, Corporate M&A and Technology.

"The workload of all of MMM’s practice areas is rapidly expanding, which means we need extra firepower on our first-rate tax team,” Louise Wells, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement.

Boggs and Thomas are "great additions as we serve our expanding client demand," she said.
