New Atlanta Podcast Focuses on Tech Startups

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Want to get caught up on all the tech news happening in metro Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding states? A new Buckhead-based podcast centered on the Southeast's tech industry would be a great place to tune in.

The "SE Tech Podcast" comes from the law firm Morris, Manning and Martin, who have offices in Buckhead and Dunwoody. The firm's popular blog, MMM Tech Law will produce the podcast.

"The Southeast is home to many of the leading tech companies and entrepreneurs in the U.S.," John Yates, chair of the Technology Group at MMM, said in a news release Wednesday. "SE Tech provides a central site for information on the region’s fastest growing and most innovative companies."

The podcast's goal will be to highlight the burgeoning opportunities being created by companies in the Southeast.

“Many tech leaders and venture capitalists have a limited view of the rapid growth of technology businesses in the Southeast," David Calhoun, MMM's chair of Corporate Finance Group, said in the news release. “SE Tech keeps these key players in the global tech ecosystem informed about the promising entrepreneurs and tech start-ups in the region."

The podcast will also feature interviews with area innovators and business models that work. The podcast, which is up and running, is available for free on Itunes and Soundcloud.com.
