Peachtree Road Farmers Market’s Season Starts Saturday

The Peachtree Road Farmers Market begins its 16th season on March 5, continuing to certified naturally grown or certified organic farms.

ATLANTA, GA β€” Saturday marks the beginning of the 2022 Peachtree Road Farmers Market season.

For 15 years vendors have been selling their wares Saturday mornings from 8:30 to noon, rain or shine outdoors at The Cathedral of St. Philip. And from March through December each season thousands come out to buy from some of the best farmers, artisans and prepared food vendors in the region.

This year, the non-profit Farmers Market organization will offer some new additions. A designated kids area will feature sidewalk chalk and jumbo yard games, and the Alliance Theater will provide storytime twice a month.

New vendors will include weekly wood-fired pizza, Purposeful Pecans, Garnish & Gather meal kits, 100% Artisan salsas and tamales, and Rock House Creamery.

And the Market will feature chef pop-ups each week with local chefs selling ready-to-eat food prepared with Market ingredients. Saturday Hyatt Regency Atlanta chef Thomas McKeown will be selling grits bowls with meat and vegetarian options, and all proceeds will be donated to Open Hand Atlanta.
