Red SUV May Lead To Gunmen Who Shot Woman In Buckhead: Police
Atlanta police are still searching for two men who tried to rob a couple on Paces Ferry Road and shot a woman.
ATLANTA, GA -- Police in Atlanta are still looking for the perpetrators who shot a woman in the head during an attempted robbery on a Buckhead street days ago. The woman, who is declining to be identified, was with her fiancé when armed robbers jumped out of an SUV and aimed a gun at them.
The incident occurred on May 20 around 3 a.m. as the couple were walking down East Paces Ferry Road, police said. "The suspects attempted to rob the two victims, but when the female victim resisted she was shot in the head by the assailant," Atlanta police said in a post on Facebook. "Luckily the bullet only grazed her forehead and she was not critically injured."
