Burglar Robs Japanese Restaurant in Buckhead of $7,500
Man pried open safe at Sarku Japan in Lenox Square, Atlanta police say.
BUCKHEAD, GA -- Atlanta police are looking for a thief who pried open a safe and stole $7,500 from a Japanese restaurant in Buckhead.
Sarku Japan in Lenox Square was burglarized a little after 8 a.m. on Monday, according to police, who posted about the incident on Facebook. The man used a pry bar to break into the restaurant via the rear door, police said.
Photos released by police show a man with a surgical mask on and a light-colored apron. He also has on a baseball cap and a book sack.

Police are urging anyone with information about this case to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404 577-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
