Serial Robbers Targeting Buckhead Businesses: Report
Law enforcement officers tell TV station that the same group of thieves are committing crimes in the area.

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Police in Atlanta are searching for thieves who have robbed several businesses in Buckhead recently, including a popular Mexican restaurant.
Law enforcement officers told local media that they believe the crimes may be being committed by the same group of thieves. They are known for barging into a business and brazenly terrorizing workers and robbing them.
Detectives have released security camera footage of some of the incidents in the hopes that the public can help identify them.

Businesses have been a targeted in several incidents around northeast Atlanta. Last month, a worker at a popular Buckhead boutique was tied up and put in a dressing room while thieves ransacked the place.

Two men recently broke into Mama's Restaurant on Piedmont Road and took $500 from the register after making workers lay on the floor, according to WGCL-TV. Security camera footage shows two men enter the establishment on Jan. 30. One of them is shown jumping over a kitchen counter. He is armed.
"I say, 'My God, they look like they are plastic, because the way they're jumping is crazy," Mama's owner Martha Vargas told WGCL.
In another incident, a group entered a CVS on Cheshire Bridge Road and demanded money from the cashier. Surveillance video shows a man in a hooded outfit going beyond the cashiers' counter.
While no one has been hurt in the robberies, authorities know that it's only a matter of time before someone is severely injured or killed.
Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call Atlanta police.
