Traffic Light Falls; Traffic Slowed in Buckhead

The traffic light at the intersection of Lenox Road and East Paces Ferry Road, has come crashing to the ground due to high winds, reports 11Alive News.

No one is reported as hurt, but traffic is being reported as slowed down and backing up just south of Lenox Mall.

"A Wind Advisory remains in effect for metro Atlanta and most of North Georgia through 6 p.m. Monday," says 11Alive.

Though the rains have pretty much stopped in metro Atlanta, high winds are expected through this afternoon. The weekend's downpours have soaked the ground across metro Atlanta and were blamed for a tree that fell in Midtown and crashed into an apartment complex.
