📰 2022 News Poll 📍
There was a lot of bad news in 2022. However, there was some great news, too. Which was your favorite good news story of 2022?
📰 Here are the top stories today in Buckhead:
- Tuxedo Park residents don’t want subdivisions. We learned on Saturday that it hasn’t stopped luxury home developer Benecki Homes from trying. The company envisions subdividing “3655 Tuxedo Road, at the Woodhaven Road intersection, into two lots.” Weighing in on the developer’s application, the Tuxedo Park Civic Association noted that it "does not conform to the recognized ‘historic character’ of the Tuxedo Park neighborhood." The developer has not responded. (Buckhead)
- How’s the Sloomoo Institute at 3637 Peachtree Road Northeast doing? We learned on Tuesday that Buckhead’s new attraction, which opened last month, is doing fantastic! It’s a “colorful place filled with slime showers, a slime wall, various ooey-gooey interactive elements, and a sensory room with kinetic sand.” Owners have caught on to the fact that squeezing relieves stress and tension, and eager visitors agree! (Wabe)
- Famed K-pop band N.Flying will play the Buckhead Theatre on January 19. Better yet, you have the opportunity to win a pair of VIP tickets to the show! But hurry up; the winner will be announced on Saturday. (All K Pop)
