Uh-Oh! SpaghettiOs Recalled for Choking Hazard
Campbell's Soup is recalling over 350,000 cans of SpaghettiOs due to plastic can lining getting mixed in with the food.

Campbell Soup Company has recalled 355,000 cans of SpaghettiOs due to a choking risk posed by pieces of plastic discovered in the food.
According to the company’s Facebook page, the red plastic pieces are part of the can lining that has peeled off and gotten mixed in with the SpaghettiOs. Campbell Soup says that the plastic itself is food safe and can be ingested without any health risks, but the pieces pose a choking hazard.
A Campbell press release identifies the affected cans as bearing a date of February 22, 2017 on the base of the can, and a UPC code of 51000 22432 printed under the bar code. These cans should be returned to the store where they were purchased for an exchange or full refund.
